Andy joined IF: at the beginning of October 2018:
“In my position as Senior Consultant at Information Factory, I was fully integrated into the team and customer contact from day one. Training and active cooperation ran parallel. Already after 2 months I travelled to our client - one of the big players in the international banking segment. For me it is a daily task to bring together the user's ideas and technical implementation possibilities, to develop and present solutions, to assess the effects on the existing systems, to keep an eye on time and costs.
We work together as a team with colleagues from different locations (Zurich, Nuremberg and Porto). I operate in an agile development and project management environment, coordinate major projects in English-speaking countries and supervise cooperation with one of the most important companies in the world economy. Responsible tasks and at the same time fun at work - exactly the combination for me!“
After 12 years, Rudi still enjoys working for Information Factory:
“Information Factory offers IT-solutions to International and Global companies thus exposing the employees to constantly new challenges and demands from its customers. As of today we are improving the server back-end systems with Java and we are already busy with tomorrow's development of front-ends using Bootstrap/ Angular JS. We develop and maintain essential systems in the banking sector, design and update the functional core of our Swiss tax declaration solution so that Swiss tax residents can use the portal in future via desktop / laptop computers, but also via tablet and smartphone.
Currently we are working on a Software update for a major bank which facilitates the maintenance of the system and the creation of dynamic web applications. We are also creating a System Solution for a customer in the United States to be able to sign PDF documents like e.g. contracts.”
